First, I want to thank you for being a great parent. As parents we try our best to raise good kids. Most of our parenting skills are based upon old methods taught to us by our parents. They probably threatened us or let us cry it out. Although we are still alive, this is our moment to raise our kids differently, without fear or neglect.
Adults are constantly returning to school for a better career or to learn a new skill. So, why not do this with our parenting methods. Why suffer using old methods that work on fear (Authoritarian) or lack of fear (Permissive)?
